The 6th annual Second Life Community Convention (SLCC) will take place in Boston, August 13-15, at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and Towers.  The goal of SLCC each year is to bring the many Residents of the Second Life community together to network, build friendships and to discuss Second Life in a common forum.

As the production of this year's SLCC is underway, the organizing committee AvaCon, Inc has renewed its partnership with AVENUE Inc for the second year running making AVENUE Magazine an Official Media Partner and assist in sponsorship acquisition and coordination.

After rave reviews from last year's first print edition of AVENUE Magazine, the team is thrilled at the opportunity to collaborate globally and bring forth yet another quality lifestyle publication out of Second Life into the Real World. Renowned for it's monthly SL publications, AVENUE is dedicated to bringing residents the finest facets of Second Life and uncovering the trendsetters and creating awareness of the vast talents in fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, business and the arts.

Upholding the usual high-quality standards AVENUE Magazine possesses, this full colour glossy edition will be a Second Life keepsake honoring it’s community and residents.  Print copies of the magazine can be ordered directly after the conference, based on supply.

"While we all value our experiences in the virtual world, SLCC allows us to meet each other in person, share meals together, learn from one another, and celebrate the abundant creativity that Second Life makes possible,” says AvaCon organizer Misty Rhodes.

Rusch Raymaker shares, "We are very excited to be a part of SLCC again and in spite of the short turn around time, we will give our utmost to ensure that SLCC reaches its full potential in receiving the well-deserved funding to enable residents of the Second Life community to network.  In the spirit of collaboration that AVENUE Magazine stands for, our global team of 50 staff will work towards producing an even more exciting print publication with greater quality, content and design."
